1.13 What is MokBee Maps Follow?
The option under Menu > Tools > Enable GPS activates the phone GPS hardware interface and attempts to get a satellite generated coordinate location. If a GPS connection is established the GPS icon goes blue , if not it stays red. If it is blue and the map cross hairs are aligned with the blue blinking icon then your current location will always be centred on the map as you move around. Sometimes the cross hairs get out of sync with the blue blinking dot, if this happens the blue blinking dot still moves when the phone moves but will not stay centred and may disapear off the edge of your current map. To re-sync just manually move the cross hairs to the blue blinking dot and they will snap togather restoring the map centering function. A fast way the re-sync is to go to the option under menu > Where am I? and press this.
1.14 GPS Tracking
Under Menu > Tools > Tracking there is a sub menu that allows you to enable "Web Tracking" and/or "Start Tracking Trace". The Web Tracking uploads your path to theMokBee Maps website where you can view it to see where you have been. For privacy reasons you must have a Mokbee account/password. Visit mokbee.com to register and get an account. If you enable Start Tracking Trace and the GPS icon is blue then a blue trace of markers will be plotted in the map on your phone as you move around.
